God requires that we set aside 1 day per week for coorperate worship and rest. Lets think about tomorrow, January 28.
IT’S GOING TO RAIN. Rain is a gift from God and not to be used as an excuse. I believe rain is a test which grades our level of commitment.
3 CHALLENGES:
- Decide now if you will attend Sunday School and Worship tommorrow. If you wait until in the morning when it’s raining and you are tired, chances are you will decide to stay home. God deserves better.
- Men, bring your umbrella. Lets be standing at every car when it pulls onto our campus (before and after Sunday School). A kind word and an offer to assist will be an awesome expression of our love for each other. Youth and college students, please take lead in this assignment.
- Ladies, allow our men and boys to assist you. We have failed to train this generation to be respectful gentlemen. Please give us the honor to serve you.
Bro. Phil
P.S. Sunday nights continue to be an incredible part of what makes Boones Chapel special. You don’t want to miss tomorrow night…plan now.

As I type this email we have only been finished with today’s service for 30 minutes and already it’s amazing what God is doing in the lives of all that attended. The number one question I am being asked is how can I watch the video again or share it with a friend. It’s simple, click on this link https://billygraham.org/video/flying-blind/ . I only ask for one thing in return for this free video link… ONE PINT OF BLOOD.
I’M JUST KIDDING ABOUT THAT BEING PAYMENT BUT VERY SERIOUS ABOUT ASKING YOU TO COME TO THE CHURCH BEFORE 5:00 AND GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE. The blood mobile is here and our goal is to see 39 pints donated before 5:00. Please don’t expect someone else to help us reach this goal. We need you. I am literally begging you because this is important.

First, I challenge you to never criticize those in leadership that must make final decisions. There’s always a multitude of “expert opinions” each of which are valid, but a final decision must always be made.
Due to the strong possibility that the melting snow will quickly re-freeze it is not worth the risk for our church family to be on the roads this evening. You are a vital part of the body of Christ and we want to take care of the Body (church). All Wednesday evening activities at Boones Chapel are canceled. Use today wisely. Be amazed by the beauty and allow that amazement to lead you to worship. As you worship, pray. As you pray, expect God to impress you to action. Then, simply obey, no matter what He may ask you to do.
Please help share this announcement so all will know.
P.S.
Men, please reply to the following invitation by opening the link….

Many have expressed they will never forget Christmas Eve 2017. God so blessed us as we gathered for worship this morning that it made a lasting impression that will not soon be forgotten.Evidence that we’ve been with God is the outpouring of love and support to the many in our church family who have lost a loved one these last few months.
I am being asked how to help the Cook family following the homegoing of Mrs. Hazel. Funeral expenses alone are enormous.
If you would like to help with this unexpected expense, please give your love gift through the Boones Chapel Benevolence ministry . You can give online atbooneschapel.org/giving or mail/bring your gift to the church.

While meeting this immediate need please prayerfully consider a year end gift to the general fund so that we can end 2017 financially strong .

Important announcement about tomorrows (December 10) services at Boones Chapel… BOTH MORNING AND EVENING SERVICES WILL BE AWESOME!!!!
The building will be warm and the parking lot will be dry and safe. Men begin the morning with breakfast at 7:00. There is a Sunday School class expecting each of you and I pray you will make an extra effort to be there at 9:00 am.
During the 6:00 pm service we will revisit the story of how God seemed to really mess up Mary and Joseph’s plans for engagement, marriage and family. What seemed to be a big mess up ended up being the perfect plan of God.
I need your help. If you have a story (testimony) of how things seem to have been “messed up” in your life only to find God used the “mess” to give you a blessing come prepared to share. This will be a very special service as we share together “what to do when God messes up our plans”. Your testimony could give hope to someone struggling this Christmas.

Dear Church,
I expected great response from last night’s special message but my expectation were far exceeded. Many of you could not be in the service last night so please consider blocking off some undisturbed time and think about this powerful message.
To watch click on this link…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quQ8cN-pVhA
Also, Men…
This Saturday, November 18 at 6:00pm, BC Fellowship Hall wear the colors of your favorite team, bring your favorite tailgating food (nachos, chicken wings, chips and dip, etc.) to share with the guys (drinks will be furnished). Our theme for this men’s night is “Fighting in the Red Zone.”
As followers of Christ, we’re in the fiercest part of the battle. The toughest part of a scoring drive is in the last 20 yards – The Red Zone! The defense is the strongest and offense is the hardest.
Join us for some time in the Word and Worship and a great time with fellow Christian brothers.
Contact Jay for more information by phone (334-303-9164) or by email (booneschapelmen@gmail.com).

Church Family,
The word help is easy to pronounce but hard to say. It’s basically admitting that we don’t have what it takes to get it done alone. Your church needs immediate help….
- We need every family to bring at least one shoe box packed according to Operation Christmas Child’s instructions. These boxes will be delivered around the world within the next few days so this Sunday Morning is our deadline. Please leave boxes in fellowship hall any time before this Sunday, 10:15 am.
- We need every Veteran to be with us this Sunday. You deserve our honor, respect and prayer….Sunday you’ll get it!
- This Wednesday we need everyone who can to meet in the gym from 5:30 until 6:50 for a shoebox packing party. Many gifts were brought all year and together we will pack shoe boxes just like a family.
- Sunday, November 19, we need your help BIG TIME but Jesus might come again before then so I’ll wait until next week to make my plea.
I know that is a lot so that’s why we unashamedly say…..HELP!

November 1, 2017
Last night may have been the largest Fall Festival in the last 20 plus years at BC. I have not even asked how many saturated the campus. However, there is one number that I do know and it is the most important. In Zechariah 3:2 the Lord rebukes Satan 3 times and then compares salvation to being “snatched from the fire”. “The LORD said to Satan, The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”
I am thankful for the multitudes of families that came last night but humbled that 13 were snatched from the fire (they were born again). Will you join me in thanking God for the harvest?
I know you’re tired, me too, but please come to church tonight and bring your family. I will keep the message straight to the point and will not waste your time. We don’t have time to waste.

Good Afternoon,
The staff says thank you to all Fall Festival volunteers and for your generous candy donations.
Well done church! Our community will be blessed because of your generosity! To our volunteers, please be here at 5
Tuesday and report to the BC Gym/back parking lot area. (The church building will be locked) Also, please remember to park behind Mr. Gene’s house and lock your vehicle. If you have not volunteered and would like to, it is not too late. Helpers are always needed! Please email Allison at
allison@booneschapel.org
This Sunday, the church will begin accepting cake, cupcake, and cookie donations through Tuesday. We will need lots of each for our Cake & Cupcake Walks. There will be a table set up in the Fellowship Hall designated as a drop-off spot. THANK YOU CHURCH ONCE AGAIN FOR YOUR GENEROSITY! Our Great God is so good!
Also this Sunday, we will hold regular AM services, regular 5PM small groups and regular 6PM Kids Choir. Adults & Youth will meet in the Worship Center at 6PM to pray for our Fall Festival and we will begin our set-up process. YOU ARE NEEDED CHURCH! This annual endeavor does not work without THE CHURCH BEING THE CHURCH! The following week we will let everyone know of the follow-up opportunities and you will be called upon once again. Thank you for your energy, time, service, donations, and most importantly, for your prayers!
HAVE A GREAT EVENING & WEEKEND!

Church Family,
Please plan your
Sunday
(10/22) afternoon wisely, you are needed.
First, by now you have heard of the sudden loss Amy Fray and her family experienced
Thursday. What began as a normal fall morning quickly changed when Amy discovered that her brother did not awake. Tomorrow afternoon,October 22, the viewing will be held at Prattville Memorial. At the viewing we will have the opportunity to share our love with Amy and her family from 5:00 until 7:00. This is a great opportunity to be the church while hearing stories about a selfless man…Steven Malon Graham. The Memorial Service will be Monday at noon.
The wise planning is needed because not only are you needed there but we also need you to attend Discipleship Training Classes at
5:00 and Worship at 6:00. Evening services are very important to the health of our church andtomorrow night is even more important than an average Sunday night…trust me
.
So, as my step dad taught me, “
you’ve got to have a plan” I hope you’ll plan your Sunday with care…you can do it! I’ll see you tomorrow. Remember Sunday
is the Lords Day, if you give Him what is His He will multiply your personal time.
Please contact everyone in your
Sunday School class and lets have a great start at 9:00 am.

October 10, 2017
Church Family,
We are incredibly grateful to those who give so regularly. Many of you are diligent to bring your offering each Sunday or give online through our SecureGive portal. With the cancellation of our Sunday church services due to the hurricane, it leaves us in the position of having to ask you to remain diligent in your giving. From a budget standpoint, October is an extremely heavy month for our church in regard to expenditures, but it is also an extraordinary time in regard to outreach. This month we will celebrate Homecoming as well as host our Fall Festival, which brings people from throughout our community onto our church grounds. What an awesome opportunity!
Please take the time this week to give online at https://booneschapel.securegive.com/sg/webonline/Home/Index, drop off your normal offering at the church office, or bring it to the Wednesday night service.
Sincerely,
Jim Wohlers
Bobby Barrett
PS- PLEASE DON’T FORGET THE WORKDAY THIS SATURDAY. MEET AT 7:00AM FOR BREAKFAST/DEVOTION THEN WORK BEGINS AFTERWARD. WE WILL HAVE A LIST OF THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE IN AND AROUND OUR CAMPUS.

Church family,
Due to the Tropical Storm Warning and the fact that our Governor has declared a State of Emergency, all services and events scheduled to meet on the campus of BCBC have been canceled Sunday, October 8, 2017
. This includes the Autauga County Baptist Annual meeting.
We understand that God can turn the storm and tomorrow
may be a beautiful day, however, we take serious the safety of our church family…for that reason this decision cannot be delayed.
PLEASE NOTE: The sermon God gave me to preach is a continuation of last Sunday….The Earth/Nature is Groaning to be redeemed. I will preach part 2 at 10:15 Sunday morning via the live stream. All you have to do is click on this link at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow https://booneschapel.org/watch-us-live/
. I hope you will watch and take this opportunity to encourage others to watch as well.
Check on each other as the storm passes over
.

The Study of HEAVEN in preparation for our ongoing sermon series is changing my life. For the first time in 49 years, I literally can’t wait to go! Don’t miss part 3 of this encouraging series Sunday @ 10:15 am.
As we gather for Sunday School at 9:00 in the morning Florida will be being pounded by Hurrican Irma. You can help. Pray, get your eyes off what really doesn’t matter and pray. Give, remember, God has a giving plan that works! When you give your undesignated tithe cheerfully, HE THEN SUPERNATURALLY MULTIPLIES YOUR 90%. Then you can give an offering that relieves the pressure that others of under finacially. TRY GOD’S WAY! Then, prepare to GO. We will soon be annoucing way’s you can go to Texas and Florida to serve.
See you in the morning at 9:00!
I will begin a new CONNECTIONS class @ 9:00 am in the Conference room and all are welcome…it only last 4 short weeks!
I will begin a new SUNDAY SCHOOL MATTERS class at 5:00 pm in the CHILDRENS WORSHIP ROOM…everyone welcome!
